Blueberry Pickin' Time!

It was awesomely strange to pick blueberries in the 60s in July, but we loved it. Usually back home we went first thing in the morning and it was already hot and muggy out so we would just pick enough to make a pie or two and take out. This time we had fun, took our time and got 8 pounds of blueberries! The field is right at the base of Mount Si and was just beautiful.
(Note to self: don't ever combine the buckets 😬)

One Way Road Trip to Seattle!!!

Driving a 26 foot uhaul from Fayetteville to Seattle......no prob 😉There is really not much scenery from Arkansas to South Dakota worth photographing, so here is the first night hotel arrival pic.
Day 2, driving from Mitchell, South Dakota to middle of Montana with a stop at the hilight of the trip.....Mount Rushmore!
Miner's Tunnel leading to Mount Rushmore
We can see it!
TJ took us on a scenic route at Mt. Rushmore. Pretty sure we weren't suppose to be back there but we got to see some natives of the park.
Just a friendly bit of advice if you ever drive through South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana......get gas every chance you get. 250 miles in between stations in remote parts 😬 With a uhaul that was averaging 5 mpg.....we cut er close a couple of times.
Day 3 of driving.......still all 😃😃😃
It's starting to look a little Squatchy!
Day 3 going through the last big of Montana, into the panhandle of Idaho and through Washington was easily the prettiest scenery. Who knew Idaho was beautiful?!
This is near Spokane, Washington
Washington totally wins the beauty contest of the trip!
Part of the ski slopes about ten minutes from our house in North Bend 😍
Here is the little town we live in, North Bend. Population: 6,000 (ish)
One screen movie theater
Not a bad view from our townhouse, eh?
The kids love the community park......
And flying down the hill on scooters and plasmas 😬
This is home.....for now 😊
